Welcome home! Ol Jogi comprises seven separate cottages offering accommodation for up to 14 adults. Each cottage has a unique style and character, and all are designed with every possible comfort. The staff at Ol Jogi are at your disposal to provide all the comforts of home. The extensive and impressive art collection alone will keep you enthralled, or you can settle in by one of the many fireplaces or cozy reading nooks with a book from the library. Be pampered at the resort-style pool, spa, and hammam. Or if you must do business in the bush, retire for an hour to the state-of-the-art office (WiFi is also available throughout the property). For a family movie night, gather in the theater room with satellite TV and fully stocked film library.
There are many endangered and rare species to encounter at Ol Jogi, and your personal ranger will have your safari vehicle ready for you day or night. Track endangered rhinos on foot. Go off road driving in a specially designed vehicle. At the end of an active day, rest and rejuvenate with Ol Jogi’s fully equipped gym, yoga studio, spa with steam room, and tennis court. And to ensure you’re ready for the next day, Ol Jogi’s French chef will prepare gourmet cuisine based on your personal preferences and using fresh ingredients from the organic garden.
Ol Jogi offers a wide range of safari activities including day and night game drives, walking safaris, and horse riding. Guests can choose to book optional explorations of Northern Kenya by helicopter or private plane (see pink flamingoes on Lake Bogoria; picnic, hike or fish on the slopes of Mount Kenya; explore volcanoes and sand dunes of the Great Rift Valley; visit with the nomadic people of he northern tribes). As this is a sole-use property, guests decide exactly what activities they would like to take part in and when. Ol Jogi is home to 15% of the world’s remaining Grevy’s zebra population and more than 40 of the 790 black rhinos that remain in East Africa. Guests also have an extremely high chance of seeing elephant, buffalo, lion, cheetah, giraffe, hyena, waterbuck, impala, and kudu during their stay. Wild dogs and leopards are regularly sighted.
